ABOUT

Chicken Biryani

The Chicken Biryani is an iconic dish of India which was introduced during the period of Mughal Emperor. The main ingredients of Biryani are Basmati rice, halal chicken, yogurt, onions, spices, lemon, and saffron. Also the coriander and mint leaves along with fried onions are used as garnish. It is prepared with meat marinated with spices overnight and then soaked in yogurt before cooking. The meat is sandwiched between layers of basmati rice and cooked on steam. This requires careful attention to time and temperature to avoid over- or under-cooking the meat. Foreigners and tourists from other parts of India often search for this delight making it a unique cuisine to try especially for the first time visitors.
